Moreno Valley California Payday Loans

Moreno Valley, California is home to an estimated 180,466. The city shares the March Air Force Base with the neighboring city of Riverside. It has one sister city in Mexico; the city of San Juan de los Lagos.

The city first became popular when people started traveling to San Francisco. Moreno Valley was on the way from Tucson. Farmers were the majority of people to settle the area until 1899 when the city of Redlands won a lawsuit that gave them ownership over the water the farmers used for irrigation. Many people moved and the city lost a majority of its population.

In 1918, the United States Army Air Force built March Field. It was used as a training ground for pilots. Moreno Valley and some incorporated communities around it revived and grew thanks to the Air Force base.

The city had unsuccessfully tried to become incorporate on two occasions in 1968 and 1983. It wasn't until 1984, when after a 31,000 resident increase across the last 10 years helped push the incorporation.
