The city of Globe has numerous historic buildings that are considered significant structures to the history of this great city. The Trust Building was a four-story brick structure that contained apartments, offices, and rooms to rent. The building was opened in 1906 and burned 2005. The Old Dominion Hotel was the most prominent hotel of downtown Globe in the early 1900s. The Hotel was famous for its Cactus Room Cocktails and huge balconies that hung over the street.
The Old Dominion Hotel was established in 1905 and burned 1981. The Murphy Hotel first opened in 1916 and was closed in the early 1970s. The Hotel is currently still standing, however it is in need of a complete restoration.
