Payday Loans

I can admit that I was sceptical of taking out payday loans, as I can imagine many others are as well. There's a good deal of pessimism in our times, especially surrounding the internet and all the scams that are conducted throughout its vast network. Being a glass is half full kind of guy though, I went into the process cautious but optimistic. I did a little bit of research and choose a company that looked very promising, although many others came out from under my scrutiny well, which I can admit was a shock. I expected most to have that glossy look of a freshly minted scam site to them, but many of these sites are totally legitimate, and have been in operation for many years.

So I needed about $600 for a reason that shall remain nameless, decided this was my best option after considering a good number of choices. I'm right around the median income bracket of $35,000, as I make about $1,500 every two weeks. By no means wealthy, so I wasn't sure in all honesty whether I would qualify for this loan or not.

I filled in the online forms which were simple enough, consisting of the same rudimentary fields you would expect when signing up for any online account. After filling out this first initial page of information, I clicked for the next page, anxiously expecting the dreaded financial page that was surely coming. They would surely want to know my credit card history (which was not perfect), any debts I had at present, and my income among other things.

Well they did want to know my income, but the other questions were mysteriously absent. Must be on the next page I thought. But it wasn't, I had reached the end of the process, and was informed I would be contacted shortly. A few minutes later I received a call to verify my identity, and that was it. I didn't have to fax or e-mail them any documents, and apparently they didn't even do a credit check. They approved me for a $600 payday loan after discussing the situation with me on the phone, and it was agreed I would pay it back in full from my pay in three weeks, two pay checks away. This gave me time to make the necessary adjustments from my next pay and better prepare myself for the smaller pay that would come in three weeks.

I wholeheartedly agreed to this, and later that day there was $600 in my bank account, a glorious occurrence indeed. It really felt like I had won the lottery, considering the circumstances that surrounded me at the time.

I ended up paying back over $700, so the payday loan was not cheap by any means, but in the end I had to have it, and it really was worth every penny I paid for it. When it comes down to things like that, you can't worry over dollars and cents, you just have to do what you can, and payday loans helped me do that and move on, and I would recommend them to any else in a similar spot of need.
