The current economic outlook for 2009 has many experts scratching their heads. Most see stagnant or sinking stocks and profitability of most major corporations, their are segments that will continue to do well.
The housing and retail industries will continue to be flat or down, while the service business segment will stay even or increase as many will need to work longer or start hobby businesses to make ends meet.
Lynn DeVries of Cinderella's Home Care said "Business is good as we have added many new clients that no longer can work additional hours and keep up with the domestic demands at their homes. It is a win win as we have the privelidge of maintaining their home and they get to come home to a beautiful, clean home."
The home repair and remodeling segments are seeing a major up-tick as well as many home owners are repairing their homes as they are delaying moves and new construction. Basically they are staying put and rebuilding and remodeling the current living space.
So, overall the market forces will tend to be negative , but on a fractional or niched based outlook, everything is steady or moving up.
